The night before school

The teachers sent the cutest poem with confetti home with Caeden. I wanted to post it for any other mom's out there that are getting ready to send their munchkins. We had fun tonight with it!

Ready Confetti

The night before school is exciting and fun.
There are always so many things to be done.
Your clothes are ready, your backpack is too.
Your classroom is full of fun things you will do.
There are so many questions that go through your mind,
All types of thoughts of every kind.
But sometimes we all get the jitters down deep
And that makes it hard to fall fast asleep.
So we have made you some fun confetti, it's really quite cool.
It will help you be rested and ready for school.
Just sprinkle the confetti under your pillow in bed.
On the night before school starts where you lay down your head.
The confetti will help you sleep through the night.
And you will wake up in the morning fresh and bright.
We will sprinkle the confetti under our pillow too.
And remember we can't wait for school so we can see you!!!

Caeden is soooo excited about going tomorrow he just hopes someone will play star wars with him. :)

A funny from today.... We had just left church and were driving home when Caeden said, "mom, I need to pee." I said buddy I need you to hold it til we get home, we are in the middle of traffic I can't pull over." He waited for a few more minutes when he said, "mom, honestly...... I have to go pee." I laughed so hard. Honestly? Where did he hear that? It was in the perfect context too! Such a crack up.
