Yummy!

Caleb was very excited so get spoonfuls of his first food tonight...rice cereal. Every time he grabbed the spoon as if to say, "yes, thank you I have been wanting some of that!"
Caeden did a great job too! He was very gentle and super excited that he was finally allowed to put something in his brother's mouth.

She's here!!

Beautiful Olivia Michel Tucker 8lbs. 10.5 oz's and 20.75 inches long! As you can see she has tons of dark hair and the longest little fingers. She is absolutely precious!! She and mom are both doing great!
Wow, I can't believe it! Here we are a group of 6 when we are together now, amazing! We walked for 3 miles together this morning on the tread mill and Heidi was going fast, she was determined to have this little one today. :) Good job mama! What a miracle! We have the big sister Ella staying with us while Heidi, Mike and Olivia are at the hospital, what an honor! And can anyone believe that Caleb was that size just 5 months ago? He is huge!

what is that smell?

I left daddy home with the boys for a short time tonight. When I got home I was on the phone talking to my dear friend Bre. We were getting caught up on life since she lives in Utah. As we were talking I was going into Caeden's room and thought, "wow it smells really bad in here... like pee and poop." Next thing I know Caeden comes in and I said, "hi bud, did you pee pee in your bed while mommy was gone?" He said, "yeah I did". I said "did you poop in your bed"? He said "no." I continued to chat with Bre and put some clothes away in his room. 2 seconds later Caeden started crying. I looked at him and he had poop squished inbetween all of his toes, on his rug, and the floor. He looked at me and said, "mom is this your poop or mine?" REALLY? I thought. I looked down and very patiently said "your's sweetheart and how did it get there?" Irionically he went to the store with me today to get a present for having 10 stars on his chart for not peeing or pooing in the bed at night. Apparently since he got his present everything is fair game again. :) Well bless his heart he tried to take care of the situation by himself so the pee pee shorts and the poopy underware were in his laundry basket and new clothes were on. We are thinking he was just too embarrased to ask daddy to come clean the poop off the floor while Auntie Cora and Uncle Nick were over.

If you want excitment in your life, kids are a sure way to get it. :)

Approaching 5 years

Well here we are almost to our 5th year of "togetherness"... June 26th was our first date. I am so thrilled that Jay is my husband! We have a fantastic family, a wonderful relationship and so many reasons to be grateful! This pic was taken this last weekend at my parents cabin. We had fun family times and moments that we were able to talk, hang out and even go on a bike ride by ourselves. Now with 2 "littles" we cherish our time by ourselves even more. For all of you "marrieds" out there... my advice.... continue to make each other a big priority, take time to communicate through everything and work hard at making each other feel special, loved and respected, it pays off!
