Our big kid is officially a first grader. He loves that this year he is allowed to wear whatever he wants to school, he is not missing the uniforms. The brothers chose to get matching Avenger shirts for their first days. :)
All 5 of us went with him to school yesterday to meet the teacher, see his classroom and get him settled. He got right down to buisness said he had a good day. :)
We are definately growing up... hair do, fun school t-shirt, and older kid ("cool dude") shoes.
Yesterday we drove him to and from school, but we have a bus that comes right by our house that can take him and drop him off and today we decided to try it. It was a little scary for me and Caeden was a bit worried about who would be on the bus and would he know where to catch the bus and would the driver stop on our street?!. :) We met each other at the bus stop at the end of the day today with big smiles on our faces, thrilled that it all worked out! :) And what a blessing to not have to load up the younger two and drive every morning and every afternoon. This is going to be a good year!

WOW! Has he grown a foot since your last blog post? He's ssooooo tall and soooo cute! What a blessing to have a school bus! Glad he was brave and did it all by himself. :) Proud of that kid... and of you too!

Yea Caeden! Josh had so much fun looking at the pictures of his buddy. He thinks its pretty cool that C gets to ride the bus (his new school doesn't have a bus- which we both think is a big bummer!). Hugs!
